Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left rather concerned after hearing some rumours emerge regarding Fabio Paratici.

As reported by the Mail Online, Italian authorities are investigating a number of transfers made in the past ‘amid claims of false accounting’ as they look into some of Juventus’ recent financial dealings.

Of course, Paratici has strong connections to Italy and one of the signings under scrutiny is Spurs’ big-money move for Cristian Romero in the summer.

The article explains that the Tottenham managing director was directly involved in the deal that brought the Argentine defender to north London, and he was also with Juventus when they signed Romero from Genoa two and a half years ago.

Details of the report were shared online by The Spurs Express and a collection of supporters were soon voicing their worries on Twitter.

Here’s what these Spurs fans had to say…

“You have to hand it to Spurs. We’re properly cursed.”

“Please just give me a nice quiet day as a Spurs fan, all I want is 1 day.”
“It never rains it pours.”
“Can we seriously get more Spursy than this…. A new day, a new embarrassment. This club will kill me one day I swear.”
“What was Levy thinking ha ha.”
“Pls can we ever catch a break?”

It certainly looks as if these supporters are somewhat exasperated by the potential drama of this story should it develop into anything more serious.
