A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans are ecstatic on Twitter following Fabrizio Romano’s fresh Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici claim.

Spurs fans may well be very excited as their club embarks on a new dawn, despite their old one with Nuno Espirito Santo only lasting 17 games, but with a proven winner in Conte now at the helm, Tottenham could be challenging for silverware soon.

Will Conte be a success at Spurs?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Since Espirito Santo was sacked on Monday morning, Spurs have seen themselves linked with Serie A players such as Franck Kessie (Gazzetta dello Sport) and Stefan de Vrij (Football Insider), and given Conte and Paratici’s history of working in Serie A, it should come as no surprise if they are looking to raid the league.

Romano has claimed on his latest YouTube video that the two Italians will now work together to build a ‘new Tottenham, an Italian Tottenham’, so fans could well expect to see some Italians arrive in north London in the near future.

A lot of Spurs fans are very happy on Twitter with this latest Romano claim.

What have these Tottenham fans been saying?

“I’m actually crying …. Been waiting for this moment for along time … conviction.”

@TureSpursFan

“These really are exciting times again for the club absolutely buzzing with conte as our new manager really can’t wait to see what he can do with us COYS”

@caysiesienna2

“Music to my ears”

@FChungSport

“Brilliant News, let’s all believe it can work, tried enough combinations over the years. COYS.”

@jackdcampion

“we are winning it all idc”

@aaroncaplin10

“Oh holy moly! This gets better and better”

@_LukeSheehy

“I’ve got Italian blood so I love it. Bring it on. Here we go”

@tvacani54

It would likely not be a bad thing to see Conte and Paratici target Italian players as well as those plying their trade in Serie A given the quality at clubs such as Juventus and Inter, but also coupled with the fact Italy won the European Championship over the summer, there is clearly talent to be signed.
