Many international football fans have been reacting to the performance of Spurs star Harry Kane during England’s 5-0 victory against Albania in World Cup Qualifying on Friday night.

The 28-year-old has come under fierce criticism this season after some poor domestic performances so far during the 2021/22 campaign, netting just once in the Premier League.

This is a return that has led people to believe that he may still be distracted by the fact he failed to secure a summer move to Premier League champions Manchester City.

However, the England captain was back to his ruthless best on Friday evening during their World Cup Qualifier against Albania at Wembley. The Spurs forward netted a first-half hattrick, taking his total tally of Three Lions goals to 44, a number that means he’s level with the late Jimmy Greaves.

How many goals do you think Harry Kane will score in the Premier League this season?

Many fans have subsequently taken to Twitter to hail Kane, who former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino once called a ‘killer’ due to his obsession with scoring goals.

Spurs fans will be hoping their talisman can rediscover his goalscoring touch when they take on Leeds United in their next Premier League match on Sunday 21st November at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Antonio Conte aims to secure his first win as Tottenham boss in the league following the Lilywhites’ 0-0 draw at Everton just prior to the current international break.
