Many international football fans have been reacting to the performance of Spurs star Cristian Romero during Argentina’s 1-0 victory against Uruguay in World Cup Qualifying on Friday night.

The 23-year-old, signed by the Lilywhites on a season-long loan from Serie A side Atalanta this summer, has become one of the first names on the team sheet for Spurs this campaign, and will no doubt be a big part of Antoni Conte’s side.

Now, the Argentinian produced another formidable display on Friday evening for his nation during their World Cup Qualifier victory against Uruguay, playing the full 90 minutes and nullifying the threat of Luis Suarez as they won 1-0 courtesy of Angel Di Maria’s 7th minute strike.
