A lot of international fans have flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on the display shown by Tottenham Hotspur’s Ben Davies for Wales against Belgium.

The Spurs midfielder played all 90 minutes of the game in Cardiff on Tuesday, which saw the Dragons earn a valuable point to see them finish second in their World Cup qualifying group.

Rob Page’s side found themselves a goal behind after Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne’s strike from outside of the box provided the visitors with the advantage.

However, Kieffer Moore was able to level the proceedings before the break to drag Wales back into a game in which Belgium dominated the ball with 76% of the possession.

And not all fans were impressed by Davies’ showing for his country, with many international fans taking to Twitter to voice their frustrations.

What did these fans have to say?

“Ben Davies being Ben Davies .. man should be nowhere near a Spurs 1st XI”

“Ben Davies having a nightmare.”
“Ben Davies lucky that Belgium didn’t make the most of that chance”
Ben Davies is a poor LB #useless
“Standard Ben Davies …..”
“Hopefully that’s knocked some sense in to Ben Davies”

Since Antonio Conte has arrived at Spurs, Davies has featured in each of the two games under the Italian playing as the left-sided centre-back in a three-man defence (via Transfermarkt).

And it is not surprising that not all of the fans were impressed with the Welshman given the Red Devils were able to get away 16 shots throughout the 90 minutes.
