Despite north London rivals Arsenal being heavily linked with a move for the Serbian in recent days, the Lilywhites are simply not giving up in the pursuit for him as Antonio Conte begins to devise his list of transfer targets as they look to turn around their fortunes on the pitch.
Although Spurs might have successfully kept hold of Harry Kane at the club despite heavy interest from Manchester City this summer, there are growing concerns the striker may have fulfilled his time in north London and might again request to leave when he has two years left on his current deal.
