Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to claims surrounding Harry Kane and a potential transfer away from the club.

The Kane to Manchester City saga was arguably the biggest talking point of the previous transfer window, with reports suggesting that a bid from Pep Guardiola’s side would go right down to the wire. However things were officially brought to a halt near the end of the window as Kane released a statement announcing his intention to stay at the club.

However, it looks as if the transfer talk is set to go on through the upcoming January transfer window as well, as according to ESPN  “Manchester City are prepared to launch a new bid for Harry Kane in the January transfer window.”

The report from ESPN went on to call it “Antonio Conte’s first major battle as Tottenham Hotspur boss”, and it certainly will be interesting to see how the Italian handles the situation, and whether or not he’ll be able to do enough to persuade Kane to stay once more.

This news was relayed to Tottenham Hotspur fans by @Daily_Hotspur and @thespursweb for them to react to, and there seemed to be great excitement about the prospect of losing Kane:

“Tbh I’d take the money and run, if he keeps performing like he is”

“I hope its true. I want Vlahovic instead.”
“Get this man out of my club.”
“Warchest for Conte”
“Great news.”
“On current form they can have him.”
“PLEASEEEEEEE I’M BEGGING”
“Please take him”

Perhaps they all fall in line with the idea that Kane hasn’t quite looked the same this season for the team, which can best be demonstrated by his poor record in the Premier League.
