A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted poorly after seeing goalkeepers Sam Johnstone and Dean Henderson be linked with their club.
Come the end of the season, Hugo Lloris will be out of contract at Spurs. If he does decide to leave, it would be fair to assume Antonio Conte may want a new man between the sticks.
According to Mail Online, West Brom’s Johnstone and Henderson of Manchester United are two targets for the club as they step up their search for an alternative option to their 34-year-old shot-stopper.

Inevitably, the story emerged all across Twitter and many supporters were more than happy to voice their opinions on the matter.

“Lloris is irreplaceable, especially with these two, not good enough to be our number 1.”
The club’s current number-one has over 100 international caps – in which time he won a World Cup – and has been with Tottenham since 2012. Bearing that in mind, he likely will not be easy to replace.
Perhaps that is why these supporters seem so underwhelmed with the potential options presented to them by this latest rumour.
For now, though, at least there is still time to scout alternatives or even offer Lloris a new deal if the board, or Conte, share the view of these fans.
