Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on the latest transfer claim to emerge ahead of the January window.

Midfielder Harry Winks is reportedly on Jose Mourinho’s shortlist at Roma. However, according to Football Italia, the Englishman’s transfer status could change with Antonio Conte now in charge.

Winks played all 90 minutes of the weekend’s Premier League clash against Leeds United while first-team regular Oliver Skipp was suspended for the game.

Following the three points earned on the weekend against Marcelo Bielsa’s side, Spurs fans shared their thoughts at the transfer claim to emerge on Twitter.

What did these Spurs fans have to say?

“We won but get him on that flight right now, he lost the ball about 6 times tonight”

“The only thing that changes is his price. He 100% has to go”
“I’ll drive him there myself”
“Get him out the door. Woeful again yesterday.”
“Get rid. Championship player at best”
“Ill pay for his plane ticket”

The game on Sunday at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was the first time Winks had played 90 minutes in the league since the final game of the 2020/21 campaign against Leicester City (via Transfermarkt).

Although Spurs secured their first league win under Conte with Winks on the pitch, it seems these fans would like to see him sold in January – and that’s far from surprising given he has just four goals and five assists to his name in 181 appearances.
