According to The Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte is set to bring Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura back into the starting XI on Sunday for the trip to Turf Moor.

Spurs go to Burnley this weekend on the back of a humiliation in the Europa Conference League, losing 2-1 away to Slovenia minnows Mura on Thursday with both players entering the fray for Conte’s side in the 54th minute, but neither’s presence was enough to see the Premier League side win.

What did these Spurs fans make of the update ahead of Burnley clash?

“Of course. The second-string guys either aren’t good enough or don’t have the heart to play. Conte will have the first team cruising way before we improve our depth”

@stateside_thfc

“We made nine changes on Thursday, I think even if we won it was obviously not an eleven expected to be fielded in the league”

@AdamRJ99

“Hopefully Tanganga or Rodon play next to Dier and Davies over Sanchez”

@JHINTON1970

“Hopefully, we just gotta get out the cups etc and go all in on the league”

@TheOnlyKailahh

“Hopefully Dele, Doherty etc last game for the club. They will not be missed”

@thfcsxn

“I should hope so.. that 2nd team should never play again”

@Savage_Spurs

Very few, if any of those who featured on Thursday, have given Conte food for thought in terms of his selection decisions ahead of their upcoming Premier League clash with Burnley on Sunday afternoon, as the Lilywhites aim to continue their winning momentum in the league after defeating Leeds United 2-1 in their most recent league outing.
