A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts on a transfer claim linking them with AC Milan star Franck Kessie.

According to The Transfer Exchange Show , Kessie is the Lilywhites primary transfer target ahead of the January transfer window, while long term target and Juventus midfielder Weston Mckennie has reportedly been told to stay at the Serie A outfit by coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Kessie, who is well-known to Conte, has recently reportedly turned down a new  £5.5m-a-season contract offer in Milan and is apparently holding out for closer to £7.5m-a-year. If Spurs were able to lure the Ivorian to N17, that sort of pay packet would put him among the very top earners at Spurs.

Spurs fans have subsequently taken to Twitter to react to the claims they are interested in a January move for 24-year-old midfielder.

What did these fans have to say?

“Were finally showing ambition by prioritizing the better player?”

“We have don Conte now. If Conte doesn’t get his players he will leave then and there. So Levy will buy him good players and who don’t wants to play under Conte. If we are serious and get him then Ndombele x Kessie in mid is like sauce everywhere”

With Kessie, 24,  out of contract in the summer, his agent will be aware that he can demand a considerably higher wage given he will be a free transfer. However, whether Spurs bow to these demands, remains to be seen.
