A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted with delight after hearing their club are being linked with exciting striker Dusan Vlahovic.

As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, new Spurs boss Antonio Conte is a big admirer of the 21-year-old and has already spoken to managing director Fabio Paratici over the possibility of signing the forward. 

With his contract set to expire in June 2023, plenty of clubs have been linked with Vlahovic in the past few months, with Calciomercato claiming Tottenham, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid put bids on the table for him over the summer.

With the goalscorer still at Fiorentina, however, rumours regarding his future continue to circulate. The Spurs Express shared information of the latest update on its Twitter feed and this quickly drew a response from many supporters.

Judging from the response of these fans, a successful move for Vlahovic would be welcomed with open arms and plenty of praise for Conte and Paratici.

It’s easy to see why the claim has fans excited, too. With the claim coming from Pedulla – who revealed that Spurs were back in for Conte following the sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo – many are hoping to rely on the journalist’s claims once more.

As well as this, Vlahovic himself scored 21 club goals in all competitions last season, while in the current campaign, he already has eight goals and an assist in Serie A to his name.
