Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to news about a potential move for 20-year-old central defender Benoit Badiashile.
Defending has certainly been a struggle for Tottenham in recent seasons, it was arguably their biggest issue last season and having started this season by conceding 16 goals in 10 Premier League games, things aren’t looking that much better for them in 2021/22.
And whilst new Spurs boss Antonio Conte will bring some changes to the side, he might want to add a few new faces into the mix to help him along the way, and Badiashile could be one of them.
According to a report from Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, Tottenham Hotspur are taking an interest in the defender, who is currently as French side AS Monaco and has been a regular for them this season, making 16 appearances for them in all competitions, so despite his age his current club clearly have some faith in him.

Standing at a towering 194cm (6’ 3), he certainly would be an imposing figure at the back for them, and it will be interesting to see whether or not they follow through with a bid as January approaches.
