Former Tottenham defender Graham Roberts is confident that Antonio Conte already has new signings lined up.

Conte replaced Nuno Espirito Santo as Spurs boss earlier this month and, according to The Sun, he could have up to £150m to spend on transfers.

Tottenham are not where they want to be right now, currently sitting in 9th place and six points off the top four.

Will Conte get the signings he wants?

Yes

Yes

No

No

If the north London club want to break into that top four and make a return to the Champions League, then they may need reinforcements in January, and Roberts believes Conte already has names in mind.

Conte would have lined players up to come, that is 100%,” the Spurs icon said to TIF. “He’s not going to come from Italy, where he had a brilliant team and they won the league [with no transfer guarantees].”

If Conte does already have players lined up, the likelihood is that they are from Serie A, a league the former Inter Milan and Juventus boss obviously knows well and one Tottenham have already dipped into following Fabio Paratici’s arrival during the summer.

They, of course, signed both Cristian Romero and Pierluigi Gollini from Atalanta and are currently being linked with the likes of AC Milan’s Franck Kessie and Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic.
