Former Tottenham Hotspur player Graham Roberts believes that Eric Dier will be up for grabs.

Since the appointment of Antonio Conte as Spurs’ new head coach, Dier has played in both matches that he has taken charge of against Vitesse Arnhem in the UEFA Europa Conference League and the Premier League draw against Everton.

Do you think that Eric Dier will be a Tottenham Hotspur player at the start of next season?

No

No

The 27-year-old has been in the starting eleven for every Premier League game so far this season, but Roberts believes that he could soon be for sale, telling This is Futbol: “Sanchez, I think he’s a better centre-half than Eric Dier because he is a natural centre-half. Dier, I think he’ll be up for grabs.”

The Sun did report in July of this year that selling Dier, along with Davinson Sanchez, was not of out the question, but both Dier and Sanchez remained at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium beyond the deadline and have been key players this season.

With a new head coach at the helm, it is only natural that they will look to bring in their own players when the transfer window opens and 90min have reported that Conte has identified two AC Milan players in Alessio Romagnoli and Franck Kessie as players who could improve his Tottenham side.

With under two months to go until the transfer window, it’s important for all of the current Tottenham team to impress Conte and ensure that they are part of his plans for the future.
