Former Tottenham Hotspur player Graham Roberts believes that this will be Hugo Lloris’ last season and that Antonio Conte may bring in another goalkeeper to the club.

Following the departure of Nuno Espirito Santo, Tottenham appointed Antonio Conte as their new Head Coach, with the Italian signing a deal until the summer of 2023.

Whilst Conte has only just arrived, Roberts believes that the squad could do with an overhaul, telling This is Futbol: “I think he needs to change the squad. I think the squad needs an overhaul all the way through it. Lloris, it’s his last season. Does he bring in another goalkeeper? Yes, I think maybe.”

Hugo Lloris has made over 380 appearances for Tottenham in all competitions during his time with the club, with his current contract running out in June of next year.

The club did sign another goalkeeper in Pierluigi Gollini during the summer, with the Italian joining on a season-long loan deal from Serie A outfit Atalanta, with Spurs also having an option to buy in the deal [BBC Sport].

Sky Sports have also reported that Spurs are interested in West Bromwich Albion shot-stopper Sam Johnstone, along with Southampton and West Ham, but the Baggies plan to ramp up contract talks in January to hopefully keep Johnstone at the Hawthorns.
