Former Tottenham Hotspur player Graham Roberts believes that Antonio Conte will stick with the same system and team every game.

Conte was appointed Tottenham Head Coach following the departure of Nuno Espirito Santo, with the Italian penning a deal which will keep him at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until the summer of 2023, though there is an option to extend.

Conte has taken charge of two games so far for his new side and has overseen a victory against Vitesse Arnhem and a goalless draw against Everton, with the starting eleven the same in both fixtures.

Ex-Spurs player Roberts believes that Conte, unlike his predecessor Nuno, will stick with the same team, telling This is Futbol: “He needs to find his best team and knowing what he’s done before he will stick with that team. He won’t be like Nuno changing one or two players every game. He will stick to his system and his team and hopefully he will get it right.”

After victory in the UEFA Europa Conference League last time out against Vitesse Arnhem, Spurs currently sit second on seven points, three points behind group leaders Rennes who are the only team undefeated in the group.

In the Premier League, the stalemate against Everton was Spurs’ first draw of the campaign as they had won five and lost five prior to that and now under new management, you would imagine that Spurs will be looking to improve on that.
