A number of Nottingham Forest fans have reacted with delight after seeing footage of Brice Samba’s excellent penalty save in their recent Championship match.

Earlier this week, Forest came up against Luton Town. Just after the hour mark, Jack Colback gave away a penalty and was subsequently sent off for a second yellow card.

With the odds against him, Samba pulled off the save, diving to his right and flicking the ball over the crossbar with his feet. Eventually, Forest held on for a point with the game finishing 0-0.
After the match, the club’s official Twitter account shared a replay of the goalkeeper’s save and fans were quick to express their praise.

Here’s what these Forest fans said about Brice Samba’s penalty save…

“He was absolutely fantastic last night.”
“Great performance in net yesterday and a well deserved clean sheet, What was it like having 25000 people chanting your name last night?”
“Superb alertness to save with his legs after already dived to his right. But made an even better save from open play.”
“I bet he is still buzzing now, we are!!”
“Super Samba!”
“Not even his best save of the night.”

It’s clear to see just how happy these fans are with their ‘keeper. The BBC match report also mentioned a ‘superb’ stoppage-time save from Samba as well – highlighting just how vital he was in the draw.
