A whole host of Newcastle United fans are ecstatic on Twitter to see the latest footage of Elliot Anderson in training.
Anderson was handed his debut in both the league and FA Cup last season by Steve Bruce, but injuries this season have seen him limited in terms of minutes for the Under-23s, although he did recently net a hat-trick against their Nottingham Forest counterparts.
The 19-year old has been in and around the first-team training sessions of late, and with Dwight Gayle now seemingly nursing a hamstring injury, Anderson could find himself in the matchday squad for the trip to face Arsenal this weekend – and many would like to see him there if his latest strike in training is anything to go by.
Will Newcastle survive this season?
Yes!
No!
A lot of Newcastle fans on Twitter are drooling over Anderson’s latest strike.
What have these Newcastle fans been saying about Elliot Anderson?
“get him involved in the first team pure baller”
“oof. Play him this weekend. Show Smith-Rowe what a real prodigy looks like!”
“Yeah this kid is it.”
“Get him in the first team boys x”
“Great strike, deserves a run out in first team for me. Who’s the keeper trying to dodge the ball worrying in 2 ways, 1 he thought the ball was going 2 foot further right than it did, and 2 he should surely catch it.”
“This kid is actually world class”
“If he doesn’t play against arsenal I’m Eddie out”
Anderson has only been afforded four minutes of action in the Premier League, but if the Magpies’ dire run of form continues in this way, Eddie Howe may believe that bleeding in some youngsters could be the way to turn results around.
