Newcastle United fell further towards the drop with another defeat at the weekend to Arsenal, with attentions moving to the transfer window and hoping to bring some quality players in to help.
The latest link for the Toon Army is Ousmane Dembele (via talkSPORT). Barcelona spent a small fortune on the Frenchman from Borussia Dortmund, but injuries have plagued his time with the Catalonia side.
Dembele is an exciting talent, capable of getting bums off seats with his quick feet. What a statement it would be from Newcastle if they can lure him away from Barcelona and get a young World Cup winner to St James’ Park.

They’re clearly excited by the prospect despite his injury woes. There’s no doubt that there is a top top player in Dembele, it’s just a case of him staying fit. Barcelona didn’t fork out way over a hundred million on him for no reason!
