A number of Newcastle United fans have been left rather excited after claims emerged stating that the club are set to appoint Michael Emenalo as their director of football.

The article goes on to explain that, following talks with the owners in Saudi Arabia, Emenalo’s arrival is now expected to be announced over the international break.

The Telegraph had initially reported that the club had made Emenalo their first choice to take on the role, having held a similar position at Chelsea.
