A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts at an interview to emerge with Amanda Staveley.

The part-owner of the Tyneside club has been speaking with NUFC TV following the appointment of their new manager, Eddie Howe.

Will Eddie Howe keep NUFC up?

Having finally found their new manager after a three-game spell that saw Graeme Jones stand in as the interim manager following Steve Bruce’s sacking, Staveley spoke of their plans for the January window.

“It’s not a window that we would ordinarily want to invest in because you probably don’t get the right deals, but that’s something that is important at the moment and preparing for that,” she said.

Despite her claims on the January window, the new Toon owners may feel no other choice but to invest this winter given the club are now 11 games deep in the Premier League season and still without a win.

And Toon fans flocked to the club’s Twitter account as they shared a link to the footage to give their thoughts on the comments made by Staveley in her latest interview.

What did these Newcastle fans have to say?

“Actual communication. We aren’t used to this but long may it continue “

What a fantastic interview. It’s wonderful having a club that communicates to supporters. Laying the foundation for a bright future. Never been happier to be a #nufc supporter.”
“refreshing”
“Unbelievably exciting hearing her speak about the future plans for the club and the appointment of Eddie Howe! I honestly think he can turn it around and save the season and go on the prove hes a top manager! Get excited everytime Stavely speaks”
“Preparing to invest in January… music to my ears”
“this was unexpected”
“Blowing my mind with all this communication.”

Newcastle’s new regime has now been at the helm for a number of weeks now and having addressed their managerial search, attention will now turn to Howe’s first game coming up against Brentford next week.

Although the Toon sit in the relegation zone of the Premier League table, it is apparent the communication from the new owners is providing them with a lot of optimism for the future.
