Leeds United fans have been reacting to news surrounding Tyler Roberts ahead of this weekend’s game in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old Welsh international hasn’t had the best of seasons so far, failing to find the back of the net in any of his 14 appearances to date for the Leeds United first team, which has led to some rather scathing comments about him, with some fans desperate to see him leave the club.
Perhaps to try and find him some form, it was decided that rather than play against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend in the Premier League, Roberts would play for the club’s U23 side against Chelsea.
The decision to play him with the youth side led to some rather interesting comments from Leeds fans when the news came across their Twitter feeds, with many thinking that he had ‘found his level’ against the younger competition:
“He’s genuinely not good enough for the 23s”
Should Leeds sell Tyler Roberts?
Yes!
No!
Whether or not this is just a one-off or something that could become more permanent, we’ll just have to wait and see. Let’s just hope that the demotion down doesn’t knock his confidence too much.
