A whole host of Leeds United fans have reacted on Twitter to the latest injury update which was relayed by Phil Hay.

Leeds have been rocked by injuries this season to players such as Luke Ayling, Patrick Bamford, Robin Koch and Jamie Shackleton to name a few, but as the season grows older, fans may start to see some of these faces return.

Marcelo Bielsa held his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon when he revealed that Ayling is edging closer to a return and will feature for the Under-23s on Monday.

Meanwhile, Rodrigo, Raphinha and Shackleton will all return to the matchday squad this week, with the former two missing just the match last week, however, Bamford and Koch are still recovering from their respective injuries.

These Leeds fans appear to be delighted that they will have three players returning this week and that Ayling is edging closer to his eventual return, as they will need all the bodies they have over the hectic festive period, which sees them face a lot of the teams near the top of the league.
