And speaking on TalkSport (via MOT Leeds News) the 48-year-old believes England manager, Gareth Southgate, would make a potential Bielsa replacement if Leeds did not tie him down to a new deal.

“He obviously lives in Leeds, I think that’d be a club that would be very interested in Gareth Southgate,” said Sinclair.

Leeds fans flocked to Facebook as they shared their thoughts on the comments being made over the club’s managerial situation with Bielsa currently on a rolling contract.

What did these Leeds fans have to say?

It is believed Southgate is set to extend his stay with the Three Lions which will see his contractual stay as the England manager until after the European Championship in 2024.

Going by the reaction of these Leeds fans, it is apparent Southgate would not be their choice and that is perhaps down to his history as a top-flight manager, having been in charge of Middlesbrough in 2009 when Boro were relegated from the Premier League.
