A whole host of Leeds United fans have reacted on Twitter to the latest claim regarding Kiko Casilla.

Leeds decided to loan out Casilla after only managing three league starts last season despite being the club’s regular number one during most of their Championship-winning campaign, and now finds himself back in Spain with Elche.

Will Leeds sell Raphinha in January?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

The Spaniard has racked up 12 league appearances for the La Liga outfit this season but was dropped for their latest match against Mallorca, and now it appears that he won’t be making his loan move permanent next summer as the ‘keeper has ‘given a feeling of insecurity’ when in goal, as reported by Spanish outlet Marca (via Sport Witness).

A lot of Leeds fans are not shocked on Twitter to read this Casilla claim.

What have these Leeds fans been saying?

“Wow. No way. Really?”

@Ben_Paul

“Should’ve released him instead”

@_LewisStant

“Hopefully we pay the last year of his contract up and get rid of him, don’t need him stinking the place up”

@JamieS1507

“Not one person is shocked”

@mattylufc_

“*pretends to be shocked*”

@Bennyboy1212

“Bin him”

@WitlessWolrab

“They can have him for free”

@Jonesylufc88

It’s very clear from these Leeds fans that Casilla was prone to the odd mistake during his time at Elland Road and they would not be bothered if he was to leave on a free transfer next season, especially given they have Illan Mesllier between the sticks now, who is a French U21 international and starting week in week out in the Premier League whenever fit at just 21 years old.

This was a low point in Leeds United's history, but how many points did they get in the 2003/04 campaign?
