Leeds United journalist Joe Donnohue has delivered a hint at Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani’s future at the club, believing that the Italian sees his long term future at the Yorkshire outfit.

Discussing Radrizzani’s future at Elland Road in the Leeds United podcast The Blue, White and Yellow, Donnohue said (23:47): They’ve gone from around 15% To 36% to 44%. So, you know, making an educated guess would be to say that.

“But Radrizzani has never said that he’s looking to step away, or he wants to step away. He’s still very much involved in the day to day of taking Leeds United forward.

“So I think we keep him at his word and trust him at his word. After all, he did predict Adam Forshaw coming back into the team, didn’t he?

“But yeah, I think we’ll take him at face value. You know, he doesn’t seem intent on stepping away”.

TIF Thoughts on Andrea Radrizzani and Leeds…

The Whites owner made an initial investment into 50 per cent of the club on January 4, 2017, which made him co-owner with Massimo Cellino.

During his spell at the club, he has seen Marcelo Bielsa’s side return to the Premier League in 2020 after a 16-year absence from the top flight in English football. What’s more, they have a unique style, high octane and enthralling style of play to match. As such, Marcelo Bielsa’s men managed to finish ninth last campaign and in doing so, they also achieved the highest Premier League points tally of any promoted side since Ipswich in 2000/01.

However, this season has proved a different story this season for Bielsa’s side, currently sitting in 15th position after 11 games in the league. Despite this, they have endured a more positive upturn in form in recent weeks, currently on a three match unbeaten run in the league and will be aiming to make it four when they take on Antonio Conte’s Tottenham side when they two sides meet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Whites next league outing on Sunday.
