Many Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to slam Diego Llorente’s display against Brighton in the Premier League.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side could only come away with a 0-0 against the Seagulls at the Amex Stadium on Saturday evening in the Premier League, with the hosts missing a number of chances throughout the contest.

Furthermore, one player who really struggled for Leeds at the Amex on Saturday evening was Whites defender Diego Llorente, with the Spanish international really struggling to cope with the likes of Leandro Trossard and Neal Maupay throughout – as per Sofascore, he lost possession 18 times over the course of the game and boasted just a 60% passing accuracy, with Brighton doing well to pressure him into making mistakes on the ball.

@JezBrett1

“Llorente was good in defence but his distribution was shocking”

@StevieDee710

“Llorente looked out of his depth at times today. Slow to the ball and a bit panicky”

@JohnRANKIN17

“I can’t agree with Llorente – I think he’s been awful last few games. Landing us in big trouble with his passes”

@bielsaball28

“Llorente being an absolute liability but won’t hear anything because he’s played a few games for Spain. Or because he isn’t Liam Cooper”

@J_lufc_3

“Firpo needs to come off! Llorente is moving like he’s 40! Missing everything about Bamford, we have nothing up top! Great first half”

@GlynnTQ

Bielsa’s side will be looking to secure a vital win when they host Patrick Viera’s Crystal Palace side on Tuesday evening at Elland Road in their next match in the Premier League.
