Plenty of Leeds United fans have been left angry with Marcelo Bielsa after he spoke to the press in a post-match interview.

Over the weekend, the Argentine saw his team fall to a 2-1 away defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur. After Dan James had put Leeds ahead, goals from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Sergio Reguilon gave opposition manager Antonio Conte a first Premier League win with Spurs.

Despite Leeds looking good in the first half, the home team managed to turn the game around. Speaking about this after the game, Bielsa told the press (via Leeds’ Twitter account): “The differences that they achieved in the second half were bigger than ours.”

The interview was over six minutes long, and many supporters seemed to have been left unhappy with their manager’s calm demeanour despite the loss.

Here’s what these Leeds fans said…

“These interviews are getting tiresome. Prefer to see a bit of hurt and passion in Bielsa.”
“So long story short…Marcelo’s tactics today were to blame.”
“I’m starting to question him now tbf.”
“I’m starting to worry now.”
“Enough of the cryptic rubbish now. He’s the person who made the changes, he’s the person who persists with Roberts, he’s the person who didn’t want a bigger squad. He’s liable and needs to start delivering or leave simple as.”
It may shock some, but judging from these comments, certain sections of the Leeds United support are seemingly losing their patience with their manager.

This was a low point in Leeds United's history, but how many points did they get in the 2003/04 campaign?

The Argentine has done so well to bring the club back into the Premier League and lead them to a ninth-place finish last season.

However, if results don’t turn around soon, he could suffer the same fate as former Aston Villa manager Dean Smith. The ex-Villa boss had achieved similar things with his side in recent seasons, but was sacked after a slow start to this campaign.
