Many Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to slam Whites captain Liam Cooper’s display against Brighton in the Premier League.

Ahead of the game against the Seagulls at the Amex Stadium on Saturday evening, Marcelo Bielsa’s side were seeking a victory that would’ve seen them rise to 14th in the league – a result that could’ve really kickstarted their campaign.

However, they were unable to achieve this and were incredibly fortunate to draw 0-0 against Graham Potter’s side, with home striker Neal Maupay particularly culpable of missing several gilt-edged opportunities.

One player who was poor against the Seagulls was captain, Liam Cooper, with the centre-back struggling to handle the movement and intelligence of Maupay.

Bielsa’s side will be looking to secure a vital win when they host Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace side on Tuesday evening at Elland Road in their next match in the Premier League.

The Yorkshire outfit, currently 17th in the league table with just two wins after 13 games, will see the clash against the Eagles as an excellent opportunity to really kickstart their campaign as they aim to surge up the Premier League table.
