Many Leeds United fans were very happy on Twitter to see Patrick Bamford attending the club’s recent Under-23s match.
Bamford has been ruled out for what will be a seventh Premier League game in a row for Leeds by Marcelo Bielsa, as the striker and Luke Ayling continue to miss out on crucial games in the league.
Will Leeds be relegated?
Yes!
No!
The striker, despite missing six league games already, is the club’s third-top scorer, although that is with just the sole strike which came against Burnley.
Despite still being sidelined, for the time being, Bamford is still looking to get his fix of football, with the striker, alongside Illan Meslier, being pictured watching the club’s Under-23 side, who fell to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Chelsea.
A lot of Leeds fans on Twitter were very happy to see Bamford at the match.
What have these Leeds fans been saying?
“Brilliant lufc mot”
“So he’s able to walk is my takeaway from this, that’s good at least. Unless he arrived here via piggyback from Meslier.”
“HE’S ALIVE”
“So he is alive”
“Love this club MOT”
“limbs”
It’s safe to say that these Leeds fans are happy to see Bamford because of how long he’s been absent from both training and matchday squads, and this picture may give a hint that he’s nearing full fitness as he is at least up and about after being spotted at Thorp Arch.
