Former Leeds United player David Norris believes that Kalvin Phillips will want to move on at some point to achieve his ambitions.
The 25-year-old has made 222 appearances for the Leeds United first team throughout his career including eleven so far this season, with the defensive-midfielder getting on the scoresheet in the Carabao Cup against Crewe Alexandra and also providing an assist against Norwich City in the Premier League.

Last month Football Insider reported that Leeds were confident of agreeing a new contract with Phillips before the end of the year, but Norris believes there will be a time in the future where Phillips will want to move on to match his ambitions.
“He’s going to be ambitious, he’s regular now for the international team. You’d think with the ambition he’s got, for what he’s done in a short period of time, he’s going to want to do bigger and better things,” Norris told This is Futbol.
There have been reports that both Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in signing Phillips, with a report from the Daily Star also suggesting that Phillips would be reluctant to leave Leeds but if he was to, he would favour a move to Anfield.
After a terrific campaign last term with Leeds United, Phillips then went on and played for England at Euro 2020 during the summer, forming a partnership with West Ham’s Declan Rice and helping the Three Lions reach the final against Italy.
