Patrick Vieira is committed to Crystal Palace, says Sun journalist Tom Barclay.

Vieira was appointed as Palace manager during the summer and has impressed in the Palace dugout.

Not only has he managed to pick up wins against Premier League champions Manchester City and Tottenham, the Frenchman has also implemented a proactive style of football, something excellently highlighted by Sky Sports‘ Nick Wright.

There has now been talk about Vieira having a big future, with his former team-mate at Manchester City Micah Richards believing he could follow in Pep Guardiola’s footsteps.

For now, though, he remains committed to Palace, says Barclay. And that is likely to delight fans, who are surely loving what they are seeing from Vieira and the team right now.

“At the moment, he’s pretty committed to Crystal Palace, very excited to see what he could do,” the football reporter said to TIF. “This is a project that feels like it’s only just started.”

It is early days, but again, looking at those results against Manchester City and Tottenham – with a draw against Arsenal coming in between – the signs are looking good.

With Vieira and the young players he has brought to the club, the likes of Odsonne Edouard and Marc Guehi, the future could be bright.
