A number of Queens Park Rangers fans have voiced their frustrations with manager Mark Warburton online after he spoke in a recent interview.
In their last league game, QPR fell to a 2-1 away defeat at the hands of Peterborough United. Ilias Chair had put QPR into the lead after scoring directly from a corner, but goals from Harrison Burrows and Siriki Dembele – who netted his winner in the 91st minute – settled the game in favour of the home side.
After the loss, Warburton spoke to the club’s media team, saying: They [Peterborough] were what we thought they would be. And we have to be better. Simple as that.
“So when we play well, we say so. But we let ourselves down this afternoon.”
Footage of the interview was later shared on Twitter and it seemed to cause a fair amount of discontent within the R’s own fanbase.
Here’s what these QPR fans said
“It’s getting old. I don’t even know if Seny is good or not anymore. So many times he’s being hung out to dry it’s hard to tell.”
