A lot of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to share their delight on the latest injury update to emerge ahead of their Premier League clash against Norwich City.

Following their Carabao Cup defeat against Arsenal on Tuesday, Marcelo Bielsa revealed he expects both Raphinha and Jamie Shackleton to feature on the weekend despite their injury concerns.

The Brazilian winger was taken off in their 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday after a clumsy challenge from Wolves ace Romain Saiss.

Bielsa currently has last season’s top scorer, Patrick Bamford, out due to injury so having the Brazilian winger available on the weekend will be a huge boost given he has already scored three league goals this campaign.

Leeds fans flocked to Graham Smyth’s tweet relaying Bielsa’s injury update following the game at the Emirates Stadium to share their unbridled joy.

What did these fans have to say?

“Music to my ears”

“Tremendous. Pat, Raph and Ayling. LEEDS”
“Best news all night”
“Excellent news surprised they risked Lloriente tonight”
“If raph is OK that’s massive let’s go boys!!!”

The Whites were knocked out of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night after goals from Callum Chambers and Eddie Nketiah sealed the win for the Gunners meaning Leeds can turn their attention back to Premier League action.

Sitting just above the drop zone, it is apparent these Leeds fans are delighted at the injury update ahead of their game against a Norwich side still without a win to their name.
