Sheffield Wednesday fans have been reacting to comments made by Lee Gregory following the club’s victory at the weekend.
Darren Moore’s men edged past Bolton Wanderers at the weekend to move up to 9th in League One, with Gregory getting the only goal in the second half, taking his tally for the season up to three following his arrival this summer.
Gregory posted a message to Owls fans on his Instagram page after the game with the message: “3pts a clean sheet and a goal. Perfect Saturday. We move on to next week and build.”
This message also went out to his followers on Twitter, where there were plenty of them more than happy in showing their pleasure for his performance, not just for that game but over the course of the season as well:
“Keep smashing them in and you and @WindassJnr will get us promoted when he’s back”

Goals haven’t exactly been flowing for Gregory this season, but hopefully something like this can act as a springboard to scoring more regularly and driving Sheffield Wednesday up the table.
