Lots of Derby County fans have flocked to Twitter to share their delight at the latest ticket update to emerge ahead of their return to Championship action.
Wayne Rooney’s side travel to Deepdale on Saturday to face Preston North End, however, following the passing of Preston’s owner Trevor Hemmings the Lilywhites have decided to reduce the price of tickets.

The decision was made to encourage more fans to attend the game in order to celebrate the life of the Preston owner and the gate receipts will be donated to charities supported by Hemmings.
Derby fans flocked to Twitter to share their admiration of the Lancashire side’s decision with another 2,000 away tickets being made available to Rams fans.

“Brilliant from Preston everyone who paid more than a fiver a ticket will automatically get a refund on the difference on the card they used and just over 2000 tickets are available on the gate £5 each cash only. Let’s pack it out”
Tickets have been reduced down to £5 and it has been revealed all Derby fans who had purchased their tickets at the original price will automatically be refunded the difference.
Although the Rams will be going to Deepdale looking to come away with three important points, it is clear their fans have been impressed by the Lilywhites’ plans for the game.
