Plenty of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to react after the full-time whistle following Celtic’s 2-0 win over Motherwell.
On-loan winger Jota from SL Benfica opened the scoring for Celtic following a superb Tom Rogic pass off the back of a move started from Kyogo Furuhashi’s tracking-back.
The goal rewarded a fine and dominant passage of play defined by a free-flowing team move, giving Celtic the lead at the break.
That was followed up with a thunderous long-ranged effort from David Turnbull against his former club to extend the Bhoys’ advantage.
The dominant result sees Celtic firing up towards the top four European spots in the table as they look to close the gap on arch-rivals and current holders Rangers.
There were plenty of signs for optimism, with many Celtic fans echoing that sentiment.
