Many Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to hail Kyogo Furuhashi after he scored the opening goal against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.

The Japan international has been a revelation for Ange Postecoglou’s side since his summer arrival, already bagging seven goals in ten games prior to this afternoon’s contest.

And the 26-year-old marked his return to the starting line-up in the league with a superbly taken goal, chesting it into the net after a quite stunning cross from teammate David Turnbull.

Is Furuhashi the best player in Scotland right now?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

Unsurprisingly, Celtic fans were over the moon with Furuhashi’s strike, and they took to Twitter to rave about the summer signing.

What did Celtic fans make of Furuhashi’s goal?

“Different level. An absolute superstar already”

“announce lifetime contract + banned from Japan national team x”

@Big_Josh67

Talk about hitting the ground running.

Furuhashi has taken to life in Scottish football like a duck to water, and his chested finish against Aberdeen was a real sign of the confidence and class that seems to be oozing out of the Japanese ace.

If the Hoops are to reclaim their crown from rivals Rangers, you feel the 26-year-old will have to be on song for the rest of the season to ensure that it happens.

His movement and finishing instincts have already marked him out as one of the most dangerous forwards in Scotland at the moment, and Postecoglou will be desperately hoping that he can stay clear of injuries.

The Bhoys simply look like a different proposition with him spearheading things up top, and the goal against Aberdeen was another reminder of his quality.

In other news, Celtic fans have been left stunned by this news…
