A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to react to an update surrounding former player Vakoun Issouf Bayo.
Bayo departed the club over the summer to join KAA Gent in Belgium, but he has been told he no longer has a future at the club – despite having only been at the club for a few months, as per VoetbalKrant.
The Ivorian has made six appearances for the Belgian side and has so far failed to hit the net in an increasingly concerning record in Belgian football for the attacker.
Popular Celtic fan account Everything Celtic (@aboutceltic) took to Twitter to share the news, with plenty of Celtic fans chipping in to have their say on their former frontman.

Whether a Bayo return is actually viable for the club is a separate matter given that the likes of Albian Ajeti, Kyogo Furuhashi and Girogos Giakoumakis are already starring on the Bhoys’ books.
However, there appears to be little love lost for Bayo among some sections of the fanbase, and a hypothetical return would surely not be snubbed by some fans if Ange Postecoglou deemed his addition to be beneficial.
Others, however, are evidently less convinced.
