Celtic fans have been reacting to footage that has emerged of youngster Rocco Vata that has emerged on him whilst on international duty.
The 15-year-old, who is the son of former Celtic player Rudi, has been on duty with the Republic of Ireland U17 side this week as they take on Andorra, North Macedonia and Poland in qualifying fixtures for the UEFA U17 Championship during the current international period.
Having already dispatched of Andorra 5-0 in their first game, they carried on that momentum with a 2-0 victory over North Macedonia, with Vata scoring a rather remarkable goal in the process, with a thunderous effort from just outside the area.
The goal was picked up by @celtic_ylvids on Twitter and posted for fans to react to, where it’s fair to say it generated some buzz amongst the fanbase:
“This wee guy is absolutely flying right now”
Are you worried by Celtic's start to the season?
Yes
No
Vata is yet to make an appearance for the Celtic senior side, but with a goal like this, it might just be enough to make boss Ange Postecoglou pay a little bit more attention to him and perhaps give him something to think about moving forward.
