Numerous Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Tanguy Ndombele display after the Premier League victory against Newcastle.

The France international has endured a mixed start the top-flight campaign thus far, but oozed class and composure throughout at St. James Park in a more advanced midfield role for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side as they defeated Newcastle 3-2.

Ndombele’s excellent display included scoring a wonderful first half equaliser after Newcastle took the lead after just two minutes through Callum Wilson, before Ndombele levelled for the away side when Sergio Reguilon picked up the ball on the left hand side of the pitch and played in the French international on the edge of the penalty area to eventually fire home.

Below is a look at what some Spurs fans had to say about their midfielder.

What did Spurs fans say about Tanguy Ndombele’s performance vs Newcastle?

“Ndombele is balling out”

@KieranKyze

“Ndombele is actually unbelievable could walk into most teams in the world”

“Ndombele is just such a joy to watch”

“How some people don’t rate Ndombele is beyond me, guys got tech, steps up in big games and has mad sauce. He’s got the entire package”

“Ndombele is a shame to all men. He’s been disgracing his fellow men and doesn’t even reason they have kids at home watching them”

@Xhoji’

“Ndombele has finally performed like a £50m player. It’s a start”

@LewisSpurs90

Spurs fans will be hoping that the enigmatic French midfielder can now find a consistent run of form within Nuno’s first choice XI and replicate these types of performances on amore regular basis, especially with tough fixtures against West Ham, Manchester United and Everton on the horizon in their next three outings in the league.

The game also was marred as play stopped towards the end half following a medical emergency in St James’ East stand. Play was stopped in the 38th minute when supporters alerted players and referee Andre Marriner with the game in full flow.
