Lots of Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to slam Harry Kane’s display against Aston Villa in the Premier League.
The England international has had a wretched start to the top-flight campaign thus far, scoring no goals in the five appearances he had made in the competition prior to today’s clash.
And while Nuno Espirito Santo’s side took the lead mid-way through the first-half thanks to a strike from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Kane didn’t look at the races once again.

Having not got that move to Manchester City that he pushed for, Kane’s lack of form this season has understandably come under the spotlight.
Whether he’s just taken his eye off the ball amid the fall-out from that failed move, or whether Nuno’s tactics have yet to really bring the best out of him, the striker simply hasn’t been anywhere near his match-winning best.
With the international break coming after the game against Villa, the hope will be for Spurs fans is that he perhaps gets his mojo back with England and can return to north London with a bit of a spring in his step.
