Tottenham fans have been mesmerised after footage emerged of former player Gareth Bale’s passing ability during Spurs 4-1 victory against Crystal Palace last season, urging the side to re-sign the winger from Real Madrid on a permanent basis.

The 32-year-old, who played on loan at Spurs last season, is currently behind the likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Marco Asensio and Eden Hazard in the pecking order as manager Carlo Ancelotti’s wide attacking options at Los Blancos.

However, after footage emerged of the Welshman playing several excellent long distance diagonal passes during last season’s demolition  of Crystal Palace, with Bale and Harry Kane each netting brace’s, numerous Spurs fans have implored Daniel Levy to re-sign their former talisman and rescue his from his Madrid nightmare.

@raffaad23

“One of the greatest tragedies was not having fans in the stadium to watch him perform during his 2nd spell with us. Still a quality player”

“Bring him back”

@JHINTON1970

“The fans were robbed of seeing Bale in action with the crowd behind him.”

Bale found playing time difficult to get under José Mourinho last campaign, but the final two months of the season were almost carried by the Welshman as he found success playing under interim manager Ryan Mason.

The Wales international bagged 16 goals and three assists in just over 1600 minutes of play, including two crucial goals against Leicester City on the final match day to secure European football for Spurs.
