A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans are delighted on Twitter to see Harry Winks being linked with a move away.

Winks was touted with a possible move away during the summer transfer window, although he decided that he wanted to stay and fight for his place under new manager Nuno Espirito Santo. However, after just one league start in what was a 3-0 defeat against Crystal Palace, he is now ready for a new challenge in January.

The midfielder is a graduate from Spurs’ academy as well as an England international, but he’s had his nose pushed out by the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp and Tanguy Ndombele, which has now seen him linked with a move to Newcastle United in January, according to a report to emerge over the weekend in The Sun.

When spotted on Twitter, a lot of Spurs fans were very happy to see Winks linked with a move away from their club.
