A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans are delighted on Twitter to see their club linked with a double move for Aurelien Tchouameni and Dusan Vlahovic.
It’s been a very indifferent start to life as Tottenham manager for Nuno Espirito Santo. Having won his opening three league matches, three league defeats then followed, but they have now recorded back-to-back league victories either side of the international break.
Should Spurs sign Vlahovic?
Vlahovic was a player who Spurs were linked with over the summer, especially if Harry Kane had left – and now that it’s been confirmed the Serbian won’t sign a new deal with Fiorentina (per Matteo Moretto), he could be set for a switch to the Premier League. Indeed, the striker and Monaco’s Tchouameni are being linked with a move to Spurs by CalcioMercatoWeb.
A lot of Spurs fans on Twitter are buzzing with this latest transfer link.
What have these Tottenham fans been saying?
“If Paratici could pull this off”
“Would love both of these. Think Vlahovic in particular would be brilliant in the Prem”
“Would be amazing except the French kid has 3 years left on his contract. I’m sure PSG are looking at him too. Vlahovic would be unbelievable but not so sure we’d get him either”
“Sign them uppppppp”
“Imagine this window”
“i’m honestly interested too”
“Now we talking”
Given how poor Harry Kane has been this season, having scored just once in the Premier League, bringing in a competent backup in Vlahovic – who scored 21 goals in Serie A last season and has four already this campaign – could really help them in their push for a top-four finish.
In terms of being linked with Tchouameni, that may not be a necessary signing if the likes of Oliver Skipp, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Tanguy Ndombele can perform as they all did in their 3-2 victory against Newcastle United for the remainder of the season.
