Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to images that have emerged of Steven Bergwijn ahead of their clash with Vitesse in the Europa Conference League.
The Dutchman has been out of action recently having suffered an ankle injury in one of their previous European games against Rennes, which has limited him to just five appearances throughout the whole campaign.
However, it looks as if he is back on the mend and closing in on a return to action, with Tottenham Hotspur boss Nuno Espirito Santo confirming in his press conference ahead of the game that the 24-year-old is going to start the game in the Netherlands.
To further hype up his return to the team, the club’s Twitter account posted these pictures for fans to react to, and it’s fair to say that there were a number of them who couldn’t contain their excitement at seeing him preparing to get back in action:

These fans certainly seem to be excited, but whether or not he’ll be able to live up to the hype that these fans seem to be putting on him, we’ll just have to wait and see.
