These football fans have been reacting to footage of Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min whilst on international duty with South Korea.

The 29-year-old forward hasn’t exactly got off to the best start for Spurs this season, as despite scoring their first goal in the league during their win against Manchester City, he has only been able to add two more goals to his tally since then.

How many points did Tottenham gain in the following seasons? First up: 2020/21

His form for his country, though, has been a little bit better, as following their draw with Iran in World Cup qualifying, he now has three goals in his last four games.

Footage of his goal – a neat finish after he managed to beat the offside trap – was shown on Twitter by @CBSSportsGolazo, where there were plenty of fans who were left rather impressed with his effort:

“Real Madrid, Juve, Bayern, Barca and what not never having a serious look at Son will always baffle me. Far too good for Spurs (better than Kane)”

“That’s what he does”
“What a forward run. The vision to see the space – wonderful.”
“If you have Son… are you playing Son-ball regardless? I mean he quite literally is that good and this looks a lot like a Tottenham goal.”
“God I love him”
“Sonnnnnnnnnnnnyyyyyyy”
“What a player he is, absolute class”

Let’s hope that he’s able to bring that form back to Tottenham with him, because with just one win in the league since the start of September, they could certainly do with him firing to get them moving up the table.
