Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur fans have erupted online after Fiorentina President Rocco B. Commisso was quoted as saying transfer target Dusan Vlahovic won’t sign a new contract.
As reported online by Sky Sport journalist Matteo Moretto, the Fiorentina forward has supposedly turned down a major new deal that would have made him the highest-paid player in the Italian club’s history.

Spurs were linked with Vlahovic quite heavily over the summer months, but no deal ever came to pass. It’s clear to see, however, these fans still harbour hopes that the striker will end up in north London eventually.
With six goals in eight games across all competitions so far this season, the 21-year-old has started the new campaign in fine form. No doubt, this will only add to his transfer fee if Tottenham do decide to come knocking – with his current contract still running until June 2023.
