A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on a claim to emerge ahead of their next Premier League game.

According to the Mail on Sunday, Newcastle United are expected to go into the game on Sunday against the Lilywhites without their current manager, Steve Bruce.

Will Spurs beat NUFC on Sunday?

It is reported the Magpies will have Graeme Jones, who joined the club as their assistant manager back in January, at the helm for Sunday’s game at St. James’ Park.

Spurs fans flocked to Twitter as the claim was relayed ahead of their clash against the Tyneside on the weekend, with many seemingly wary of a potential ‘new manager boost’.

What did these Spurs fans have to say?

“New manager boost for them aswell omds we might be done out”

“Every team always has a boost against us”
“Another L for nuno”
“If they hire Pochettino I’ll be fuming”
“bad. jones knows what he’s doing”
“None of its any good but at this point what does it matter.”

Spurs will face a Toon side who are yet to earn their first win of the Premier League season and sit second-bottom in the table with just three points to their name.

Despite the Toon coming into the game in horrific form, it is apparent these Spurs fans are concerned about a potential confidence boost experienced over the course of the international break for the Magpies.
